Newmarket Pooch Plunge: Dogs-Only Pool Swim

The Town of Newmarket's Pooch Plunge returns on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Gorman Pool (424 D'Arcy Street) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Once the season wraps, the pool opens for a dogs-only swim — no humans in the water. Only fully vaccinated dogs over four months are welcome, pool capacity is enforced, and admission is $5 per dog. See the Town's official event page for the full rules.
