The Thai Bangkaew Dog is a Thai companion spitz of square build, never low on legs, with a fairly wide and deep chest and a double coat that forms a ruff around the neck and shoulders and a plumed tail, more pronounced in males. It is always white with well defined patches in lemon, red, fawn, tan, grey or black, with symmetrical head markings preferred. Ideal height at the withers is 46–55 cm for males and 41–50 cm for females.
