The Srpski Gonič or Serbian Hound is a medium-sized scent hound of robust constitution, described by the FCI standard as full of character, lively and energetic. Its coat is short, abundant and gleaming with an undercoat, and it is fox red to reddish tan with a black mantle or saddle. Males stand 46–56 cm (ideal 51–52 cm) and females 44–54 cm (ideal 48–49 cm) at the withers.
