The Chart Polski or Polish Greyhound is a short-haired sighthound used on hare, fox, roe deer and bustard, and historically on wolf. The standard stresses that it is definitely stronger and less fine in shape than the other short-haired sighthounds, though never heavy or lethargic, and that its strong frame and powerful jaws reflect hunting in the difficult conditions of the Polish climate; its coat is springy and rather harsh, longest at the buttock and under the tail. Ideal height at the withers is 70–80 cm for males and 68–75 cm for females.
