The Hygenhund or Hygen Hound is a Norwegian scenthound in FCI group 6, section 1.2 (medium-sized hounds), recognised with working trial. Its coat is straight, dense and shiny, preferably somewhat rough to the touch, and comes in red-brown or yellow-red, black and tan, or white with those colours as patches and markings. Males stand 50–58 cm (ideal 54 cm) and females 47–55 cm (ideal 51 cm) at the withers.
