The Haldenstøver or Halden Hound is a Norwegian scenthound of rectangular build — proud and strong but never heavy — kept in FCI group 6, section 1.2 (medium-sized hounds) with working trial. Its coat is harsh, very dense and straight over a dense undercoat, and it is white with black patches and tan shadings on head and legs, black never predominating. Males stand 52–60 cm (ideal 56 cm) and females 50–58 cm (ideal 54 cm).
